Crooked Line was asked to create a video explaining the new tax collection and tax management system used by the municipality of the city of Rotterdam. 

The animation was used for the first time during the national congress for Dutch municipalities. The film was used as an introduction to their main presentation. It was a great success as the animation managed to peak the interest of at least 5 other municipalities in using this software for their community taxes. 

Crooked Line was responsible for the entire production from concept and design to actual animation.

Commisioned by Yune, Crooked Line made a full scale 3d animation for Ziggo. The video was sent to every Ziggo customer to announce that their modem is about to be swapped for a new one.

We designed and built a complete 3d city; every building, car, tree and streetlight had to be custom made. We had to honor to work with a Arjen Klaverstijn, a great character designer and animator.

The spot was then personalized by Yune, adding dynamically the names and address of every Ziggo customer and send out the mailing.

Crooked Line was asked to create a video explaining the emissions software developed by Protectio Globus. The great thing about the software is that you can link up an entire supplychain through the software and calculate the footprint for a single product. From basic resource to final product.

When consumers and governments pick products based on their footprint more and more, this kind of information becomes critical in finding ways to reduce that footprint. The result is an extra emphasis on sustainability and that is good for all of us!

With a 40% market share, NU.nl is one of the largest news sites in the Netherlands. So when they restyle their website, they take their time and want to make sure their visitors understand what has changed.

Crooked Line was asked to explain in about 30 seconds what and why NU.nl changed in their new layout.
We wanted to make a sort of abstraction of the NU.nl site. Not showing too many details, but just showing what changed and leave the rest.

To achieve this Crooked Line choose a cutout cardboard visualisation. Everything got a DIY feeling. The computer screens are made out of cardboard, the website and texts are all strips of cardboard. Even the logo is made out of pieces of cutout cardboard. 

Everything is very recognizable, but not super detailed, so you automatically focus on the main changes and not the details.

The Global Standards Organization asked Crooked Line to create an animation to explain the benefits of retailers and manufacturers working closer together. GS1 sees it as their task to bring both worlds together.

Simenco created a serious game for GS1 to train retailers and manufacturers to work closer together. Crooked Line was tasked with creating an introduction video.

Their main focus is on streamlining supply chain management. (GS1 is also responsible for bringing us barcodes in grocery stores)</description>
